David Landry

David Landry has over twenty years of staffing industry experience, as a former CEO/Owner of The CalStaff Companies, Inc. (oldest, largest, independent, staffing service in the Sacramento Region). He graduated with a Business Degree from CSU Sacramento and joined CalStaff in 1985. CalStaff routinely placed as many as 2,000 employees annually into meaningful careers, employing a team of over 30 in-house recruiters/staffing managers, and earned the #1 spot amongst the region’s independent staffing agencies by revenue, volume and temporary placements. CalStaff also created several lucrative and successful divisions to include: AccountableStaff, CalStaff IT, MedStaff, GraphXStaff and LawStaff. In 2008, Bill Glasser, President of Language World, sought out Dave to help manage the growth of his company and to head a new staffing division that would channel the expertise of Language World in a new direction.

Dave is active with numerous professional, business and community-based organizations and has deep business and social ties to the Sacramento Region. Dave also has a deep understanding of the rules, risks and opportunities of being a California business owner and employer.
